Why I don't like it:
- The whole Yes or No to a photo exercise gets a bit tedious after a while.
- I've been getting friend requests from these guys.
- Requests are mainly from married men or guys in relationships.
- I just don't feel comfortable with FB strangers scoping me out.
Why people might like it:
- It is free.
- Sooner or later all the single people on Facebook will try it - thus giving you a wider choice
- You are anyway addicted to Facebook...

I find Facebook for many reasons not the best option in online dating. However for people who are already dating or have met on Match.com or some other site it can enhance the communication in the relationship if both people are on Facebook. I don't think it is the best "pick up tool" because you're just meeting people in random. That doesn't boad well for a date.
However Myles Reed's book "Fishing for Love on the Net" might be a better source then myself for online dating tips.
Ethan, just because that is your opinion don't assume it's not a good tool for dating. Everyone dates differently. It's a great way to get to know someone before you date. Plus, it's a hell of a lot safer than people who randomly meet in bars.
